Zátiší s rajčaty – Still Life with Tomatoes

Dnes mám pro Vás trochu čerstvé zeleniny:). Stalo se to tak, že mi docházely náměty na malování a já si chtěla zase naaranžovat nějaké zátiší – no a v lednici jsem našla rajčata....

V tomto obrázku jsem si hrála s geometrií a tvary, paleta je tentokrát omezená (viz. obrázek dole). Co se týče materiálu, dnes jsem použila nové pastely Raphael a pěkně spolupracovaly i s mými pastely starými...Použila jsem také akvarelový papír z bloku Discobolos, který jsem si koupila minulý měsíc a psala o něm. Při malování akvarelem se sice trochu kroutil, ale po uschnutí se snažil vrátit do původní podoby a nebyl vlnitý jako můj předchozí fotokarton.

Když jsem malovala svá rajčata na talíři, uvědomila jsem si, že miluji na malování ten „optický klam“, kdy máte pocit, že si můžete vzít to rajče přímo z talíře do ruky. Nebo máte chuť vstoupit do krajiny na obraze – jako do jiné reality. Myslím, že to je přesně to, co chce malíř zprostředkovat svým divákům – jinou realitu – barevnější, krásnější....Šedé reality máme kolem sebe dost, tak proč nevstoupit do krajiny za obrazem - jako když Alenka vstoupila do krajiny za zrcadlem...třeba tam najdeme svou Zemi divů...

Today I have some fresh vegetables for you :). It happened so, when I haven´t got  new motives for painting – I´d like to arrange some still life – and I have found tomatoes in the fridge...

In this painting I have been playing with geometry and shapes, palete is limited (see photo below). And about the materials I have used: I have used my new french pastel Raphael and they have cooperated well with my old czech pastels. I have used  paper from pad of watercolor papers Discobolos ( I have bought it and blogged about it last month). During painting with watercolor paper have curled a little bit, but after drying it almost returned to its original shape – wasn´t so curled like my previous photocardboard.

When I was painting my tomatoes on the plate I realized I love to paint for that „optical illusion“, when you feel you can take the tomatoes from the plate to your hands. Or you feel you can enter the scenery on the painting – like to enter another reality – more colorful, more beautiful....Gray reality is everywhere around us so why not to enter the land behind the painting – like Alice have entered the land behind the mirror...maybe we will find there our Wonderland.....
